I spent a year in London reading Physics at the Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine. For those of you who also spent time at Imperial College, have you received info on their new web site for students, alumni etc.? It's pretty cool. Click here to get to the page.

The Student Union also has a pretty cool web page. Check it out by clicking Imperial College Student Union It's free for anyone to look at, not only IC students.

Okay okay.  So I didn't spend much time AT Imperial College.  I admit it.  But there is so much more to London than to studying isn't there?  I am sure all folks who have been there or lived there would agree.  The philosophy I followed was to wine, dine, and be merry.  What is there to do?  Just round the corner from where I live, there is:

Harrods!  They have a wonderful Food Hall.

And what else is there?  Simply too much.  I have found a great page here that I would like to share with you all.  It's www.london.com.  For visitors and residents alike, it shows you all the great spots in London to go to, for sightseeing, shopping, and clubbing.  Plenty of sights and sounds.

For quieter moments, I loved taking a stroll in Hyde Park.  Click on the picture below to see more about this wonderful oasis in the middle of one of the world's most exciting metropolis.

And of course London is only a hop away from continental Europe.
